50% Off All Things Designer..Yes Please!!

Style Theory: I have always wanted to have a few designer items in my wardrobe and now I am 41 I have a managed to save up and buy a few treasured things. I stumbled across Very Exclusive a while ago when I was looking for a See By Chloe dress and was so glad I did! They are a little internet gem, a slightly unknown designer hub and have the most AH-Mazing sales. Everything is half price, none of this £10 off business so it is really worth investing now, here is my edit of the best sale items..
Needle and Thread was £125 now £87
Gorgeously pretty, a beautiful top that would look just as gorgeous now under a chunky cardigan with skinny jeans as in the summer with denim shorts and flat sandals.
Cocoa Cashmere was £175 now £87
Cocoa Cashmere is one of the softest brands of cashmere out there, I love this grey striped sweater, it will be perfect for now with skinny jeans and trainers for the school run and in the summer with denim shorts and white supergas.
Zoe Karssen was £90 now £54

The perfect 'fling on' sweater, a designer item but at the same price you would pay for a high street sweater, perfect for a laid back weekend look.

Mih jeans was £190 now £57
I am have been a long time devotee of MiH jeans when I can afford them, these would be perfect for the Spring/Summer and such a gorgeous colour of denim, a real bargain. Perfect with trainers, heels and sandals/Havianas in the summer.
J Brand Selena Jeans was £220 now £110
Another pair of jeans I have (and paid full price for..arggh) but have lived in them. These are the best jeans for keeping their shape and are the perfect ankle length for me (I am 5ft 3) I sized down two sizes in these as they do come up big but are without a doubt my 'go-to 'going out jeans. They are great as I can wear my trainers to get to the party then change onto my heels when I get there and both look great!
Joseph Cashmere Camel Coat was £795 now £477
A cashmere, camel coat will never go out of fashion, it is a wardrobe staple and this, although still hugely expensive, is an amazing reduction. Impeccably cut and with a red lining this looks like a coat fit for royalty and can be worn year after year and so easily dressed up or down.
Missoni was £645 now £248
I am officially obsessed with all things Missoni at the moment and this is the ultimate, Saturday Night Fever style 70s party dress, Wear off one shoulder and pair with gold sandals for a cool, retro party look. In the summer wear with flat, tan strappy sandals..perfection in a dress.
Whistles was £170 now £119

The most flattering dress, it covers the tops of the arms and skims over all lumps and bumps, I have this dress and love it!

Marc Jacobs was £345 now £207
The perfect work trousers, wear with a cashmere jumper or victoriana and low heels for a chic, sophisticated look.

Furla Bag was £540 now £324
I have this beautiful bag and completely love it, it is so eyecatching and makes the most dressed down outfit look dressed up. I clash it with my pink coat or wear it with my camel or Khaki coats, it is the kind of bag that goes with any colour and elevates any look.
See by Chloe was £410 now £287
The perfect, slouchy every day bag to sling over your shoulder, quietly stylish and chic.
Le Specs was £55 now £27
Le Specs sunglasses are like a cheap version of designer sunglasses, they look amazing on but dont cost the earth. I love a transparent frame on sunglasses, it means they don't dominate my face and look cool at the same time!

Supergas were £55 now £38
I bought these last summer and loved them, great with dresses and shorts, the platform sole is super flattering on my legs.
Terry De Havilland were £235 now £141

I have been stalking these shoes for a while, I love Terry De Havilland shoes, they are sooo flattering and look amazing on. I am going to a wedding early 2017 and my eye on these, the dress can come second!
Vivienne Westwood was £380 now £152

Beautifully chic and stylish with an edge..

Uggs Kristen were £150 now £90

Just because I am a secret Ugg wearer, I wear them a.lot., on the school run, shopping they are just like wearing slippers outside and are my guilty pleasure. This Kristen style looks pretty robust and not as slouchy as the originals.

So there is my edit, I have had to try very hard not to put it all in my virtual basket, but as it is my birthday in a week I think I may be able to request one or two!! I do love a designer bargain!!

Thanks for reading and as always I love to hear your thoughts and comments, until next time Fran and a very very Happy New Year!! xxxxxx

It's All in the Stripes

Style Theory: Stripes and trainers, my failsafe go to whether it is a breton, jeans and trainers or a beautiful striped dress and white pumps. This LK Bennett dress feels sumptuous on, there is acres of material creating a swishy, twirly skirt, and fitted tailored top. It is the perfect Summer event dress and can be so easily dressed down with trainers and a biker or dressed up with heels and a navy blazer.

I love a dress, but for me it is far more comfortable when paired with trainers, it makes it look slightly edgier, a little cooler and most importantly is practical and comfortable. These Superga flatform trainers provide me with some much needed height but are still comfy to walk in. I truly believe in not keeping best for best, I like getting maximum wear out of my clothes (life is too short and my social life not as it once was!) and pairing your dresses with trainers makes them daytime appropriate.

Dress - LK Bennett @VeryExclusiveUK £141 - Still available here (but full priced)
Trainers - Superga UK £55
Biker Jacket - Asos old Season - love this one
Bracelets (just seen) - Stacking Bracelets Bella Jewellery

Are you a fan of the dress and trainer look? What have you been wearing to summer events this summer? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, until next time Fran xxx

Style Theory: Sunglasses are not only practical but can add the finishing touch to your look. From designer to cheap as chips high street, there is a pair to suit every face shape and every budget. Keep it classic with neutral frames or have fun with colours to clash up with your outfit, play it safe, go bold..do both..

Here are a selection of my favourites starting with expensive going down to high street 'could be designer' looks...

I love these ones, they are perfect for my square/round face the angular cats eyes pull my face up making it look less square.

Chloe @Very Exclusive £250 (take 30% off with code)
For a boho, cool look these Chloe sunglasses are sensational. The metal fine frame gives them a 2016 look whilst still giving off that 70s vibe. Perfect for angular faces, these sunglasses will look cool year after year.
Mango at Asos £19.99
Almost identical to the Chloe ones but £19.99 - these are a fab buy!
Chloe @VeryExclusive £210 (use code for extra 30% off)
I have a thing for clear frames, they look so chic, so understated, so Italian. These sunglasses are beautiful, they are not shouty but subtly knowing, pure rivera style.
LE Specs @VeryExclusive £40
Cute pink sunglasses from Le Specs, I love the Le Specs range they look like designer sunglasses for a fraction of the price.
Quay Australia @Asos £35
Another brand I an a huge fan of Quay Australia. These sunglasses have sporty look, will be perfect with a sports luxe look of hoody, biker, tailored trousers and heels.
Le Specs @Asos £49
These look so designer, I like the finer gold arm it makes them not too heavy. A true chic look.
RayBan Wayfarer £125
I love a red frame and these Ray Ban wayfarers tick all the boxes for me. Add a pop of colour to your look, match them with you bag or your shoes for a cool look.
Topshop £18
Loving these, I have just broke my red frame sunglasses so may have to buy these ones!
I like to have one pair of really good sunglasses, I find they are more effective in the sun, I have a pair of old prescription ones that I actually use loads when I cannot be bothered to wear contacts and then I love a couple of fun cheapy sunglasses to add a little 'fashion lift' to my looks.

Are you a designer sunglasses fan or do you prefer cheap and cheerful? There are sooo many fab frames to choose from this year, it was hard to narrow it down! As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, hope you are enjoying this glorious sunshine..it is just heaven!! Until next time Fran xxxx
