Sales Edit and inspiration on how to style each piece..but hurry things go fast...

Style Theory: This time of year you can pick up some real bargains, things that you have looked at for a while and will see you into the next season. It is worth investing in some key pieces that have longevity but I also do love to throw in a little frivolous bargain too.

Here is my edit of the items on my sale shopping list, but do be quick things get snapped up fast...
Mango was £39.99 now £19.99

So chic, understated and very designer-esque, this bag has been on my radar for a while. It is a leather mix and looks so much more expensive that it's £19.99 price tag. Wear wit a black shirt, jeans and trainers for a cool, elegant look.

Mango was £35.99 now £25.99

One of those super useful sweaters, can be worn with any colour jeans, perfect tucked into pleated midid skirts of pair with a tulle skirt for a stunning look.

Mango Cashmere sweater was £119 now £79.99

This V neck cashmere sweater (seen here worn with a scarf) is the perfect throw on chic knitwear. Now is, without a doubt, the time to invest in cashmere, it is reduced and will take you through the coldest winter months to the Spring and summer, perfect to throw over a pair of shorts on cooler summer evenings or to wear on the plane on holiday with white skinny ankle length jeans and white supergas.

Mango was £69.99 now £49.99

This coat has a distinct Missoni look about it, the colours are very 2017 and it would look fab over a white tee, blue jeans and trainers.

Philip Lim was £690 now £414

This SS17 is all about trenches with an interesting twist and this one fits the bill perfectly, you will be one step ahead if you snap this one up.

J Brand Selena was £225 now £158

My fave jeans ever, I have this style in both blue and black and wear them non stop. They look great if you are not super tall as they are perfectly cropped, keep their shape and look just as good with trainers as with heels. The pockets on the bottom are flattering and they do not bag, love love. Size at least one size down as they do come up big!

Chinti and Parker was £325 now £228

This is the kind of sweater you can wear every day, dressed up or dressed down. Super soft and luxurious a real treat.

Boden Cashmere was £110 now £83.30

I have a thing for forest green at the moment, it is such a gentle flattering colour and looks so chic on with pale blue jeans and navy loafers, unfussy and stylish..
Inspo image via Camilla Philo

Isabel Marant was £290 now £174

I bought these (full price) a few seasons ago but these suede versions are a much better price and the style still completely and utterly catches my eye.

Acne Studio was £350 now £175

The perfect nude shoe in this seasons shape, to wear with everything..
Inspo Inage via StyleduMonde

Red Alert

Photos via Pinterest
Style Theory: A red piece of knitwear or a red accessory is the perfect item to add a pop of festive colour to an outfit. I am always drawn to red at this time of year, whether it be a slick of red lipstick, a fab red tote bag or a cosy deep red jumper, it makes me feel Christmassy..

I have tracked down the best red knitwear and accessories on the high street now....
Topshop £39
An easy throw on jumper, perfect with pale blue jeans and trainers for the school run, dress up with black, ankle length jeans and heels for an evening out.
Mango £35.99
Brand new in to Mango, this open knit work jumper looks cosy and chic at the same time.
Topshop £34
Red, stripes, ruffles, love everything about this blouse. It is see through so I think I would wear a red vest underneath (M&S have great basic cheap cotton ones £5) Again I would pair this with my pale blue boyfriend jeans and some gold heels (Love these Aldo ones)
Me+Em £75
A beautiful, flattering red jumper, cut beautifully with button details on the sleeve. This jumper looks gorgeous on and is not too bulky or warm so perfect for a evening out.
Zara £39.99
Zara has brought this style of blouse out for the last couple of years, it is a real winner. It looks expensive and luxurious on, tuck it into your jeans and sling on some heels for an easy, glamorous look.
Asos £30
Such a pretty cardigan, looks fab done up and worn as a jumper, sling on a pair of ankle length skinny blue jeans for a perfect Boxing Day look.
&Other Stories £125
This bag is made from the most beautiful, buttery soft leather, the perfect accompaniment to a camel coat.
Radley £109
I love my red tote bag, I use it non-stop. It looks great with all my coats, navy, khaki, camel and patterned and carries my trainers perfectly when I wear heels (I always need trainers to motor around to meetings and at the end of a night out)
Topshop £75
Super cool, these boots can do all the talking, wear with kick crop ankle length jeans and a neutral top (as Lucy Williams has in the streetstyle photo above)
Zara £79.99
I completely adore these boots, again they would look fab with black crop kick flare trousers and a neutral/black top.
Accessorize £12
I am loving berets this season, they look great and are perfect for adding a pop of colour to your look.

Are you feeling the love for red at the moment, has the Christmas colour got to you too? As always I would love to hear you thoughts and comments, until next time Fran xxx

My Top Ten Chic and Stylish Christmas Jumpers..

Jumper - Bella Freud £290
Dungarees - Asos £65
Shoes - Gucci
Style Theory: I love a novelty Christmas jumper but I do prefer a jumper I can wear at Christmas and for the months following too. It needs to be sparkly, festive but fit in with my winter wardrobe. To be worn for Christmas drinks with jeans and heels, on Christmas day with a skirt and ballet pumps or on Boxing day with cashmere joggers and Uggs... and through the year with my jeans and trainers

So without further ado here are my top sweaters..
Bella Freud £280
The bell sleeves, the gold detailing, this is the ultimate chic Christmas jumper.
Bella Freud £290
Red, super christmassy but also looks just a good with denim shorts and white trainers in the summer, a true all year around investment.
Selfish Mother x Save the Children £45
Half the proceeds of the sale of this jumper goes to Save the Children, so not only is this a beautiful, tasteful (not just for Christmas) sweater, you know some of your money is going to a good, needy cause.
Hush £85
This is the most perfect Christmas day sweater, it so soft and cosy, wear on Christmas day with a black tulle skirt (I love this one from New Look £20) and heels. Or on boxing day wear with leather leggings or coated jeans and Chloe style boots, wrap a red cashmere scarf around you for a chic and festive look.
J Crew £158
This does not have a hint of Christmas about it but would be so lovely to wear (or add to your Christmas list) for Christmas day.
&other stories £65
I have featured this sweater before but I just cannot resist &Other Stories knitwear, it is so good, the perfect slouchy Christmas sweater.
Zara £19.99
Just seen this and have purchased (ordered a M and L - just incase!) shimmery, just add baggy comfy Christmas day jeans, sparkly socks and heels.
Make Believe Jumper
Oliver Bonas £45
This jumper looks so more expensive than it's £45 price tag, a gorgeous midnight blue, style with a silver pleated skirt and trainers for a cool look.

Sugarhill Boutique at John Lewis £44
Subtle but very pretty, could be worn through the year.
Hobbs £89
Again, perfect tucked into a silver pleated skirt with heels.

So paired back and maybe a little killjoy on the fun, novelty Christmas jumpers front but to be honest I am so stuck for space and if I am going to buy a jumper I need to wear it a lot and make it work hard for me in my wardrobe.

Have you bought a Christmas jumper yet? Have you gone the whole hog, Santa, reindeers lights etc or are you like me and like it paired back? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, until next time Fran xxx

It's Time to Up the Sparkle Factor..

Photos via Pinterest
Style Theory: It gets to this time of year and suddenly there are not enough sequins in my wardrobe to keep keep me happy. I go into complete sparkle overload and I want to bring you with me!!

As with all my outfits I always need a heavy dose of the dress down element and to neutralise an all over sequin top I just add a pair of slouchy, boyfriend jeans and a pair of trainers or some comfy heels, throw a bomber jacket or parka over the top and I have the perfect Christmas event look..

Here are my favourite on the high street now, just add boyfriend jeans..
H&M £29.99
This top looks shinier in the flesh and is the one I have ordered, I sized up one size as I really didn't want it too tight.
Topshop Flared Sequin Top £65
Gorgeous top with a cut out detail on the back but not very big cut out so you can still wear a bra! Not online yet but will be soon..
Topshop Long Sleeve Sequin Poloneck £75
Just completely fab, I would size up on this also, it looks better not skin tight.
Very - Myleene Klass range £25
The bronze sequins look good on this top, it looks slight Tibi-esque..
Asos Slouchy Sequin Top £55
Love this sweater, perfect for daytime sparkles. As it is a slouchy fit I would wear with skinny jeans rather than boyfriends to balance out the bagginess.
Oasis Sequin Top £38
More of a knitwear top..really easy to style up or down.
Zara £22.99
Love this top, it would be like wearing a disco..
Mango £34.99
A finer top, easily tucked into jeans.
Bershka £29.99
I think I will be tracking this one down too, I mean you can't have too many sequins can you?

I didn't buy into this trend last year and now I really wish I had, I am not planning on missing it this year, I have the sparkly leggings (last year) the pink sparkly skirt (H&M this year) now I need a sparkly - preferrably turtle/polo neck - but dont worry I will not be wearing them all at once!!

Are you getting into the sequin overload swing of things, or are you playing it down a little this year? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and sparkly comments, until next time Fran xxx
